About the Bank: CCBank is an entrepreneurial and innovative community bank building a next-generation financial services platform. We are deploying credit card issuing infrastructure, Merchant Acquiring and Sponsorship, real-time payment capabilities (Fed Now and RTP), a cloud-based data strategy in Snowflake, AI-powered tools, and fintech partnerships via robust API connectivity. This is a senior leadership role focused on architecture, delivery, and innovation across these dimensions.

• Technology Development Leadership
  • Serve as the Bank’s senior technical development authority, providing architectural guidance and technical oversight across active development initiatives.
  • Direct and manage internal, onshore, and offshore resources with clear standards for code quality, documentation, testing, and delivery.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with external solution architects and vendors; build internal capability for core ongoing development needs.
  • Lead planning, prioritization, and execution of the technology development roadmap in partnership with the CIO, COO, CFO, and other leaders.
  • Establish and enforce development governance, change management, and release practices appropriate for a regulated financial institution.
• API Development & Systems Integration
  • Own the Bank’s API development strategy and execution; design and deliver integrations connecting core systems, cloud platforms, and third-party partners.
  • Lead development of credit card application workflows within Azure, integrating with credit bureaus, KYC/KYB providers, digital banking UI/UX, and card issuing infrastructure (Synctera and partners).
  • Build and maintain API connectivity between Azure and FIS Money Movement Hubs to support Fed Now and RTP; include outbound disbursement APIs for strategic partners.
  • Develop API infrastructure to support Merchant Acquiring and Sponsorship, including ISO/ISV onboarding, settlement processing, and transaction monitoring.
  • Ensure integrations meet security, compliance, and performance standards for a federally regulated institution in a cloud environment.
• Cloud Architecture — Azure
  • Act as the primary technical owner of the Azure cloud environment, overseeing architecture, security, access management, and cost optimization.
  • Align Azure setup with regulatory expectations, information security standards, and IT governance.
  • Collaborate with Information Security and IT leadership to ensure decisions support security and risk posture.
  • Evaluate and implement Azure-native services, Dev Ops tooling, and IaC practices to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Data Lake & Analytics Strategy — Snowflake
  • Own data lake strategy and architecture in Snowflake; direct ongoing build-out, governance, and maintenance.
  • Develop a roadmap to expand the data lake to support products and programs across platforms; ensure data ingestion, organization, and accessibility for reporting and BI.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify analytics use cases and build supporting data infrastructure.
• Data Governance — Technical Infrastructure
  • Own data governance infrastructure; implement and maintain systems, controls, and tooling for enterprise data governance across platforms.
  • Establish data access management in Snowflake and related platforms with role-based access aligned to data classifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and maintain data lineage documentation across ingestion pipelines to demonstrate data provenance for regulatory examination (BSA/AML, fair lending analytics, CRA inputs).
  • Collaborate with business-side Data Governance Sponsor and data stewards to translate data definitions and retention policies into technical controls.
  • Implement data quality monitoring and alerting; escalate quality issues to the appropriate data steward.
  • Ensure the data infrastructure supports AI and automated reporting with auditable lineage.
• Innovation & Strategic Technology Planning
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging technology trends in banking; propose ideas to support competitive positioning and strategic objectives.
