PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

The Production Technician is responsible for the work on the production line operations and fulfillment of ASEA product. This position will regularly operate production equipment, work on the production line, and will assist in production controls, documentation, and other production needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Work at various positions on the production line.
- Fulfill ASEA product and support production needs operating fillers, sleeve machine, shrink tunnel; stage and prepare product material, and pack finished goods.
- Understand and follow all FDA regulations, NSF requirements, internal SOPs, and cGMP guidelines.
- Support all other production functions, including working in the production staging and pulling / preparing materials.
- May fill out production paperwork and prepare reports.
- May perform inventories, cycle counts, and other controls.
- Perform daily cleaning of warehouse and production facility.
- Exemplify all Company safety rules and regulations.
- Operate various technical machinery and equipment.
- Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Pay:
$16+ Depending on Experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic, proven hard work in production.
- Production or warehouse experience a plus.
- Shop floor conditions, lifting, operating equipment, loud, and various temperatures.
- Able to work independently and be an adept problem solver.
- Friendly, flexible, dependable, and professional.
- Familiarity of cGMP guidelines and FDA requirements a plus.
- Food handler permit and basic computer skills a plus.
- Ability to stand and move around for the entire shift (10 hours+ per day; usual schedule is M-TH, 10-hour days starting at 6am).
- Frequent and repetitive: bending, crouching, stooping, and reaching throughout entire shift.
- Occasionally lift 35-75 pounds, frequently lift 25-35 pounds.
- Ability to work in warehouse condition; little heating or cooling.
