Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Sales Business Development role based in Pleasant Grove, UT, The Sales Business Development professional will identify and qualify new business opportunities, generate leads, and build relationships with residential and commercial clients seeking landscaping services. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outreach (phone, email, in-person), following up on inquiries, scheduling and attending client meetings, and presenting tailored landscaping solutions.
The role also involves collaborating with operations and project teams to prepare proposals, estimates, and service plans that align with client needs and company capabilities. The individual will track sales activities, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, monitor market trends, and contribute to sales targets and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build rapport, understand client needs, and provide clear, professional responses.
- Proficiency in Lead Generation and Market Research to identify prospects, assess opportunities, and understand local competitive dynamics.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, evaluate performance metrics, and support data-informed decision-making.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in landscaping, property services, or related industries.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment with the ability to visit client sites in and around Pleasant Grove, UT.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with CRM software and basic office tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local client visits.
