Truck Driver, CDL
CDL Class A Driver position in Lindon, UT. Drives 4‑axle dump trucks, 5- and 6‑axle side dumps in the greater Salt Lake City area. All trucks are manual.
Key Requirements- Class A CDL
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience
- Current medical card
- Clean MVR
- Clean drug test (pre‑employment & random)
Year‑round with 30+ hours per week during winter and 40+ hours during summer. Shift starts around 6 AM, Monday‑Friday with occasional Saturday options. All major holidays are off.
Responsibilities- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Keep accurate daily time and material records
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Maintain knowledge of different types and sizes of aggregates
- Maneuver and back up trucks effectively
- Communicate effectively on the radio system
- Conduct daily inspections of trucks
- Track truck mileage on daily paperwork
- Keep all daily paperwork legible and accurate
- Haz Mat endorsements and heavy equipment transportation experience are a plus
Valid Utah driver's license (CDL Class
A) with appropriate endorsements and a medical card. Previous experience delivering aggregates, asphalt, and other materials to residential and commercial sites.
Haz Mat endorsements are a plus.
Compensation & BenefitsPay is DOE within the range of $25–$32 per hour. Weekly pay via direct deposit.
No health insurance benefits are offered.
