Overview
The Engagement Coordinator is responsible for providing an exceptional experience as the first person to interact with students, employees, and guests both face‑to‑face, over the telephone, and by email. This role delivers the highest level of customer service by greeting guests and students in a professional, warm, and welcoming manner while supporting overall business efforts. The coordinator oversees the front desk environment, performs clerical functions, manages internal meeting and gathering spaces, and maintains campus organization.
CompensationThe starting pay range for this position is $18.45 – $20.00 per hour.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Professionally interact with students, employees, guests, and all departments/divisions within the company. Answer phones in a timely manner, screen, direct incoming calls to the appropriate person, and take messages. Maintain campus check‑in and check‑out listings.
- Provide engaging and informative campus tours to admissions prospects and other guests as assigned.
- Serve as the liaison for the FS department to set up remote meetings and take payments when necessary.
- Organize and maintain the appearance of internal meeting spaces, conference rooms, testing areas, entrances, and other general shared areas.
- Update necessary forms, conference schedule, and telephone extension list.
- Update all admissions computer applications with prospect information.
- Assist admissions prospects with completing their EP portals and proctoring admissions assessments.
- Maintain conference room calendars; assist with scheduling/coordinating appointments, events, and meetings. Oversee and coordinate arrangements for in‑house meetings with students, employees, and guests, including catering.
- Receive mail and packages daily. Sign for and record packages. Promptly sort and process all incoming U.S. mail and interoffice mail. Distribute mail and packages to all appropriate persons and/or departments/divisions. Monitor supplies for the postage machine.
- Maintain the supply closet and kitchen area, ordering general office materials, supplies, and kitchen supplies. Place special orders at the request of a supervisor or other management staff in the region when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

- High school diploma or GED and two years of related experience.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence; effectively present information to visitors, students, and employees.
- Reasoning ability: apply common sense to detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions and address problems with few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
