The educator must hold a valid California Single Subject Chemistry Teaching Credential and CTE in Health Science and Medical Technology.

• Establish goals and objectives in cooperation with the principal or designator.
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreement requirements, including: being present on campus, attending job‑related meetings, submitting accurate forms, reporting child abuse, adhering to State curriculum, and meeting other specified duties.
• Be responsible to the site administrator for the care, control, and instruction of the students in your charge.
• Report promptly to the principal any serious accident, illness, or factors preventing the full exercise of duties and responsibilities.
• Respect the individuality of the children and maintain conditions that positively affect their physical and mental health.
• Keep abreast of current innovative educational practices and curriculum trends to participate in policy‑making and curriculum revision.
• Enforce all rules governing pupil conduct as prescribed by the Superintendent and Board of Education, not conflicting with Board policy.
• Work cooperatively with district employees and the community.
• Provide and maintain adequate lesson plans and instructions for substitute teachers.
• Perform non‑instructional duties and responsibilities, including supervisory and advisory duties as may be prescribed by the Board of Education.

• Valid California Single Subject Chemistry Teaching Credential.
• Certificate in Health Science and Medical Technology (CTE).
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa.
