Your Clinical Impact
In this role, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide life-changing rehabilitation:
- Direct Therapeutic Care:
Implement treatment plans as prescribed by the physician and directed by the Physical Therapist to help residents regain mobility. - Clinical Excellence:
Maintain accurate daily treatment notes and weekly progress reports in full compliance with PT Board requirements. - Interdisciplinary Teamwork:
Participate in patient care and rehabilitation conferences; communicate progress and care plans effectively with the broader medical team. - Education & Training:
Assist the nursing department with training Restorative Aides and provide vital caregiver training to families to prepare them for a safe discharge. - Departmental Success:
Help maintain a clean, organized, and functional treatment area, reporting any equipment issues to ensure a safe environment for all. - Relationship Building:
Build positive, professional rapport with residents, their families, and your healthcare colleagues.

Qualifications
- A current and valid California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License.
