Company Overview Has been operating since 1997 and specializes in prototype and short run production parts. We design and build all tools in house allowing for quick turnaround times. All equipment has been recently upgraded to all electric, which provides a much cleaner and quieter work environment. Our facility is fully climate controlled.

We currently operate on a 4x 10-hour day work week (Monday through Thursday)

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Injection Molding Lead Process Technician to oversee and optimize manufacturing processes within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead process improvements, mentor team members, and ensure efficient production operations in a dynamic environment.

Duties
  • Lead daily operations of manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards
  • Position, align, and secure molds in injection molding machines.
  • Monitor process performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to equipment and processes promptly
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize process parameters and workflows
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on operational procedures, safety protocols, and best practices
  • Maintain detailed documentation of process changes, inspections, and maintenance activities
  • Conduct regular safety audits and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members

    Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as an Injection Molding Processing
  • Strong technical knowledge of process equipment, control systems, and manufacturing methodologies including RJG Decoupled Molding
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and implement effective solutions
  • Leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring team members
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong communication skills for effective coordination with cross-functional teams
  • Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with automation systems, Six Sigma methodologies, or lean manufacturing principles
  • Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards is essential
