Rustproof Technician

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is looking to earn extra income in a fast-paced dealership environment. Whether you have automotive experience or are eager to learn, we provide the training needed to succeed.

• Evening (PM) hours
• Saturdays required
• Part-time position

As a Rustproof Technician / New Car Prep Specialist, you'll help prepare new and used vehicles for delivery by:

• Applying rustproofing and undercoating to vehicles
• Safely lifting vehicles and ensuring complete, quality coverage
• Applying rustproofing materials to doors, panels, engine compartments, truck beds, and other designated areas
• Wearing required protective equipment provided by the dealership
• Washing, detailing, and preparing vehicles for customer delivery
• Inspecting vehicles for damage or missing accessories
• Cleaning overspray and maintaining a professional finish
• Moving and parking vehicles throughout the dealership
• Assisting with vehicle transfers between dealership locations as needed
• Maintaining a clean, organized work area
• Assisting with snow and ice removal during the winter season

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable and self-motivated
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Automotive or detailing experience is helpful but not required

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a wet environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
