We are seeking an Accountant that will help review the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other related financial activities.

• Performs general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
• Maintains the general ledger.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
• Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.>
• Recommend actions by analyzing accounting records.
• Maintain Sarbanes accounting controls by following the required policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of general financial accounting.
• Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
• One year of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Sarbanes is a plus.
• Proficient with account software.
