This busy hospital operates 8-11 operating rooms daily across 7-8 surgical blocks, accommodating diverse procedural volumes and specialty services. The facility includes both outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology procedure areas with two rooms each, supporting comprehensive surgical and interventional services. The hospital maintains advanced anesthesia capabilities across multiple specialties including cardiac, neurological, and general surgical procedures.

The anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services across all surgical specialties including cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, general surgery, orthopedics, spine procedures, gynecology, urology, obstetrics, catheterization lab, interventional radiology, electrophysiology, and gastroenterology procedures. Clinicians must demonstrate TEE proficiency and maintain board certification while managing both standard surgical hours and call responsibilities. Call duties begin with two weekdays and every other weekend coverage, eventually transitioning to every third weekend with solo call responsibilities using pager or Tiger Connect mobile application.

The role requires 95% hands‑on anesthesia delivery with occasional CRNA supervision when serving as the anesthesiologist in charge, covering 8-11 operating rooms daily plus outpatient and inpatient GI procedure areas.
