Physician - Gastroenterologist

Froedtert South Medical Group

Froedtert South is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join our team. We welcome candidates who have experience, expertise, and passion in this area. With that said, we are incredibly flexible and welcome recently trained fellows.

A typical week would include office hours, inpatient rounds, and procedures. There is a call rotation for evenings and weekends for office patients and inpatients, shared among the Gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, treatment and management with disease and disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, including the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, and biliary system.
  • Colonoscopy
  • Endoscopy
  • Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

Qualifications and Skills
  • Valid state of Wisconsin medical license
  • Board eligible or board certified in the specialty-specific Board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association.
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited Residency training in Internal Medicine
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited Fellowship in Gastroenterology.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to keep an open mind
  • Innate curiosity, determination, and drive
