As a Regional Mobilization Manager (RMM), you are the tactical engine of the region. While the Regional Organizing Director sets the strategic vision, you ensure that vision is executed on the ground every single day. You will serve as the "General Deputy" for a specific section of your region, bridging the gap between high‑level strategy and daily field operations. You will directly support and coach Field Organizer(s), drive the development of our volunteer Neighborhood Action Teams, and ensure that our voter contact goals turn from numbers on a spreadsheet into knocks on doors.

This is a leadership role for an operator who loves the mechanics of organizing and finds joy in turning volunteers into leaders.

The Team

You will report to the Regional Organizing Director (ROD) and work hand‑in‑glove with them to manage a portion of the region. You will assist in the day‑to‑day management of a team of Field Organizers, serving as a primary coach and accountability partner for them. You will help to support building strong volunteer infrastructure that will continue to organize their communities for the long run.

You're

Our Person If
  • You are a Tactical Expert. You know exactly what it takes to launch a successful canvass, run a phone bank, or cut turf. You will be able to guide Field Organizers to successfully launch Direct Voter Contact events. You sweat the details so the Field Organizers don’t have to.
  • You focus on "The How." When the ROD says "We need to hit 5,000 doors this weekend," your brain immediately jumps to:
How many shifts? Which staging locations? Who is prepping the packets?
  • You are a Coach. You excel at spotting talent—both in staff and volunteers—and nurturing it. You know how to move a volunteer from "showing up" to "leading the team."
  • You are resilient and adaptable. Campaign life moves fast. When a venue falls through or a goal shifts, you don’t panic—you pivot and solve the problem.
Job Responsibilities Tactical Execution & Operations
  • Assist in driving the daily implementation of the region’s field plan for the portion of the region you are responsible for, ensuring Field Organizers have the resources, turf, and data they need to meet their goals.
  • Oversee the logistics for regional days of action, canvass launches, and high‑traffic voter contact events.
  • Monitor daily and weekly metrics for your assigned turf, identifying gaps in performance and intervening early to get the team back on track.
  • Manage the office infrastructure for the region, ensuring materials are organized and ready for deployment.
Volunteer Leadership Development
  • Work directly with Neighborhood Action Teams to identify, recruit, and train volunteer leaders.
  • Move volunteers up the "Ladder of Engagement," turning consistent canvassers or first‑time volunteers into Staging Location Directors, recruitment captains, and overall Team Leadership.
  • Foster a community of belonging within volunteer teams, ensuring retention through the campaign cycle and beyond.
Staff Management & Coaching
  • Partner with the ROD to manage the Field Organizer (FO) team, providing day‑to‑day guidance, troubleshooting, and motivation.
  • Help lead daily stand‑ups or check‑ins with FOs to set priorities and remove blockers.
  • Model best practices in the field,…
