JobPurpose
The RMA Coordinator, under general supervision, coordinates the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process. Responsibilities include verifying sales orders, analyzing material requirements for RMA orders, planning and scheduling repairs, updating databases, preparing paperwork, auditing inventory, reconciling discrepancies, updating customers on return status, resolving A/R issues, providing requested reports, and ordering parts needed for repairs.
Nature of Duties- Log and process all RMA requests
- Process RMA requests through the factory for repair or replacement
- Communicate with Program Management on status until closed
- Help maintain and establish processes and procedures to ensure timely RMA completion
- Efficiently prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously
- Escalate problems as appropriate
- Maintain accurate records and monthly reports, and document processes as needed
- Drive cost reductions through product and process improvements
- Continuous quality improvement in Rolled Throughput Yield (RTY)
- Collect data and correlate failures, driving actions required to solve root‑cause issues
- Ensure products exceed customer quality, reliability, and internal cost and delivery goals
- Perform duties as assigned
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time
- Overtime is required
- 5 years of experience in an electronic manufacturing environment preferred
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Greenbelt tools
- Extensive knowledge of Wave Solder, SMT, and electronic manufacturing processes
- Experience handling and testing RF components
- Detail oriented
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to communicate in both written and spoken English
