Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician supports reliable plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining process and production equipment, as well as performing general building maintenance. This role focuses on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, preventive maintenance, and equipment installation, while working closely with engineers, machinists, assemblers, and machine operators in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations.
- Perform general building maintenance to keep facilities in good working order.
- Repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Design, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Install new equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and operational requirements.
- Maintain inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies by monitoring stock levels, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt.
- Work directly with engineers, machinists, assemblers, and machine operators to support production and resolve equipment issues.
- Conduct general upkeep procedures and perform additional maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly instructions, and instructional drawings for electrical, hydraulic, and process systems.
- Apply excellent mechanical aptitude to diagnose and resolve equipment problems.
- Troubleshoot electrical components and electronic systems as needed.
- Demonstrate good troubleshooting skills and a strong work ethic in all maintenance activities.
- Utilize basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in day-to-day tasks.
- Support and, where applicable, troubleshoot PLC and control systems.
- Act as a self-starter, taking initiative to perform other related duties as required.
- Work overtime as needed to support production schedules and maintenance requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of PLC systems and control systems is a plus.
- Certificate in relevant expertise areas such as electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, or related disciplines is a plus.
- Experience with preventive maintenance program design and implementation is beneficial.
- Comfort working directly with cross-functional teams including engineers, machinists, assemblers, and machine operators.
- Qualifications and experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled. You will work with process and production equipment, as well as general building systems, handling mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control technologies. This position is on third shift, working from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with the option to work either Sunday through Thursday or Monday through Friday, depending on scheduling needs.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
