Nursing Assistant

• Assist Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Physicians with direct patient care
• Support patients in activities of daily living, hygiene, and treatments
• Determine and record patient vitals and assist in minor procedures
• Perform clerical functions related to patient records and maintain daily operations in a 24/7 unit
• Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid when necessary

• Must possess and maintain certification in CPR by the American Heart Association
• Ability to work up to 16 hours per day and more than 40 hours per week as operational needs require
• Registered or eligible for registration as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Wisconsin
• Experience using an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and performing CPR
• Ability to make accurate observations and assess changes in patient conditions

• Relevant experience in a healthcare or correctional environment
• Training in the use of AED and CPR techniques
• Experience initiating action in emergency situations
