OpportunityKem Krest is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Quality Engineer to support quality system compliance, product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves working cross‑functionally with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to uphold quality standards and drive process optimization.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to and communicate quality system and supplier documentation
- Interpret part drawings and reject non‑conforming materials
- Support and execute APQP and product launch processes
- Apply lean principles to improve quality and operational efficiency
- Conduct internal, product, and 2nd party audits
- Execute CAPA processes and support resolution of non‑conformances
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on quality initiatives and customer‑facing activities
- Support ROI analysis and understand the financial impact of quality processes
- Lead or support problem‑solving and root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and supplier requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2–4 years of relevant experience accepted in lieu
- 0–2 years of experience in quality or manufacturing environments
- Preferred certifications: IATF, Lead Auditor, Lean/Six Sigma, EMA, VDA
- Strong understanding of CAPA, APQP, and audit processes
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance
