Kem Krest is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support quality system compliance, product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves working cross-functionally with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to uphold quality standards and drive process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to and communicate quality system and supplier documentation
- Interpret part drawings and reject non-conforming materials
- Support and execute APQP and product launch processes
- Apply lean principles to improve quality and operational efficiency
- Conduct internal, product, and 2nd party audits
- Execute CAPA processes and support resolution of non-conformances
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality initiatives and customer-facing activities
- Support ROI analysis and understand the financial impact of quality processes
- Lead or support problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and supplier requirements
Your Contributions:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; 2–4 years of relevant experience accepted in lieu
- 0–2 years of experience in quality or manufacturing environments
- Preferred certifications: IATF, Lead Auditor, Lean/Six Sigma, EMA, VDA
- Strong understanding of CAPA, APQP, and audit processes
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance
