Quality Assurance Inspector Salary: $72,800-$83,200/year
Shift: 1st
Hours:
6:00am-4:30pmWe are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to join a manufacturing team in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong machining background who is skilled in quality inspection, CMM programming, GD&T interpretation, and precision measurement. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer specifications through first article, in-process, and final inspections while supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Quality Assurance Inspector Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on machined components
Program, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain CMM equipment
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&TUtilize precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, comparators, and other inspection tools
Review manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
Investigate nonconforming products and participate in corrective actions
Maintain calibration records and ensure inspection equipment is properly calibrated
Train production personnel on inspection methods and quality procedures as needed
Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding quality requirements and specifications
Support continuous improvement efforts and maintain accurate quality documentation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned
Quality Assurance Inspector Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
Experience programming and troubleshooting CMMsStrong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Experience with precision measuring equipment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Machining or CNC manufacturing experience preferred
Solid
Works experience preferred
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and spreadsheetsIND
