Industrial Electrician – 2nd & 3rd Shift
Location:
Pleasant Prairie, WI, United States. Position:
Permanent, Full‑time.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor – Electrics.
Responsibilities- Wiring, assembling, repairing, testing, and installing electrical components in the assigned area.
- Operate in a safe and efficient manner to minimize production downtime and adhere to environmental and safety guidelines.
- Use hand and power tools, read blueprints, drawings and schematics, and apply knowledge of codes and regulations.
- Monitor manufacturing equipment for proper operation, make adjustments and repairs to optimize machine performance.
- Develop and use procedures and work instructions that include diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Work with and troubleshoot AB PLC processors and input/output modules.
- Diagnose root causes of problems and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure safe and productive performance of equipment in manufacturing and facilities.
- Perform electrical work to industry code, including but not limited to basic transformer and motor wiring.
- Experience working with operators and manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of problem‑solving techniques and continuous improvement mindset.
- Understanding of industry codes and regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC processors and input/output modules.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
