Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI (Relocation Not Available)

Salary Range: $33.00 – $34.00 per hour + $1.50/hour shift premium

Employment type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Shifts Available:

  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Summary:

MS Companies is partnering with a leading manufacturer in Pleasant Prairie, WI to fill multiple direct-hire Electronic Technician positions across 2nd and 3rd shift. This is a hands‑on electronics and controls-focused role supporting high‑speed manufacturing operations in a clean, modern production facility. The ideal candidate has strong experience troubleshooting electronic systems, PLC logic, hardwired relay controls, and industrial electrical equipment in a true manufacturing environment (distribution or warehousing experience alone will not qualify).

You will be responsible for maximizing equipment reliability through preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and continuous improvement while working with advanced production machinery. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance or electronic technician experience (facilities, warehousing, or distribution experience alone will not qualify)
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic, digital, and electrical systems on production equipment
  • Experience reading and troubleshooting PLC logic (programming experience is a plus)
  • Experience with hardwired relay logic, motor control circuits, and single‑phase/three‑phase electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, OEM manuals, and technical drawings
  • Hands‑on experience using electrical test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, voltmeter, ohmmeter, etc.)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (GED accepted with documentation)
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and able to pass background check, drug screen, physical, and education verification

Preferred Skills &

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree in electronics, industrial maintenance, or related field
  • Instrumentation calibration and equipment alignment experience
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
  • Experience installing, examining, and repairing electrical wiring, conduits, receptacles, and related components
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑speed manufacturing environment

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical and systematic methodologies
  • Perform routine maintenance including field fault analysis, instrumentation calibration, component replacement, alignment, and calibration to specification
  • Diagnose and repair electronic, digital equipment, AC/DC motors, and controls
  • Conduct fault analysis of hard‑wired relay logic, motor control circuits, motor power circuits, and utility/lighting circuits
  • Access and use PLC logic to troubleshoot production equipment
  • Test electrical systems and circuit continuity; install, examine, replace, or repair wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, and lighting fixtures
  • Maintain accurate and current maintenance records to support historical tracking and future planning
  • Recommend process or procedure improvements based on observed equipment performance

Physical and Environment Requirements:

Physical expectations and working conditions associated with the job may include: standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods, lifting up to 25–50 lbs depending on role, and other work performed in a clean manufacturing environment.
