Carpenter - Facilities & Maintenance Join Uline Inc.'s Facilities & Maintenance team as a Carpenter supporting busy warehouse and manufacturing operations. Build, install, and repair facility structures, pallet racking, and work areas to keep our high-volume distribution environment safe, efficient, and well organized. Use your rough and finish carpentry skills to complete layout changes, structural repairs, and facility improvements from drawings and work orders.

Responsibilities

  • Construct, install, and repair facility structures, fixtures, and storage systems in warehouse and manufacturing areas.
  • Perform rough and finish carpentry for walls, doors, partitions, workstations, and safety barriers.
  • Install, modify, and maintain pallet racking, shelving, and material handling fixtures to support operations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders to plan and execute projects accurately and safely.
  • Inspect work areas, identify repair needs, and complete preventive maintenance on carpentry-related structures.
  • Collaborate with Facilities & Maintenance teams to support layout changes, equipment installs, and special projects.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure proper use and care of carpentry tools and equipment.
  • Follow safety policies, lockout/tagout, and OSHA guidelines while working at heights and around warehouse equipment.

  • Concrete anchors and fasteners
  • Basic welding or metal fabrication (preferred)
  • Measure, cut, and layout materials accurately
  • Preventive maintenance of carpentry tools and equipment
