A leading North American distributor with decades of sustained growth is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to join its technology team. The organization operates at scale across multiple business channels and is investing in modern, high-performing systems to support continued expansion. The Senior Java Software Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java-based applications that support critical business operations. The position combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, including contributing to architectural decisions, optimizing performance, and mentoring team members.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Java applications aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance standards.
• Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across systems.
• Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions on schedule.
• Mentor and guide developers, fostering strong development practices and team growth.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including CI/CD processes and Agile methodologies.

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in full‑stack Java development, including enterprise‑level applications.
• Strong experience with the Spring framework and modern Java technologies.
• Proficiency in RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Solid understanding of JPA, SQL, JSON, SOAP, and XML.
• Familiarity with caching mechanisms, service discovery, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Experience contributing to system architecture and technical design strategy.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading development teams.
• Exposure to large‑scale, high‑transaction business environments.
• Knowledge of modern Dev Ops practices and tools.
