Position:
Parts Counter - Material Handling

Salary: $2000 Sign-on Bonus

• Process phone and walk-in parts orders by correctly determining customer’s needs
• Investigating parts requirements
• Inputting orders into the computer
• Pulling parts from the warehouse for customers waiting at the counter
• Placing backorders with vendors
• Making proper and complete purchase orders

• Put away stock orders
• Pull parts orders for the service department
• Complete cycle inventory counts
• Assist Parts manager when needed

• Cleaning workstation and warehouse
• Preparing for Parts Inventory
• Perform cycle counts
• Clerical work such as filing, answering phones, and so on

• Ability to operate a forklift or complete forklift certification training
• Must be able to drive a company vehicle
• Computer literate with some working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
• First-rate communication skills
• Maintain a clean and efficient workstation
• Stay current with product knowledge, such as new products and product improvements
• Communicate with management and co-workers on work-related ideas and questions

• Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain
• Ability to grasp and work with hands
• Raise or lower miscellaneous equipment parts
• Extend hands and arms in any direction
• Bend body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist
• Remain in a standing position if required to perform various functions
• In and out of equipment, up and down ladders
• Read work tickets, parts book, and computer screen
• Communicate by radio, phone, and in person
• Sits at the workstation for long periods

• Lift 60 lbs daily; regular exertion

• The candidate works in conditions with constant or irregular noise and in a temperature-controlled office or warehouse that has temperature variations
• Conditions may involve foul odors, fumes, and harsh substances
