Description

Are you a detail-oriented Bookkeeper who thrives on cleaning up backlogs and bringing order to financial records? We are seeking a strong Bookkeeper for an ongoing temporary assignment in Pleasanton to help a growing organization get caught up and back on track.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and making an immediate impact.

What You'll Be Doing:

+ Reconciling bank and credit card statements

+ Cleaning up and processing accounts payable and accounts receivable backlog

+ Posting journal entries and maintaining the general ledger

+ Assisting with month-end close support

+ Reviewing historical transactions for accuracy

+ Organizing financial documentation and improving processes

+ Supporting the Controller/CFO with ad hoc reporting

Requirements

+ 3+ years of Bookkeeping experience

+ Strong reconciliation experience (bank, credit card, GL)

+ Experience clearing accounting backlogs

+ Proficiency in Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar ERP/accounting software

+ Strong Excel skills

+ Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

+ Available for an ongoing temporary engagement
