Senior Staff Accountant

Description

Our company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting financial planning and analysis. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Responsibilities:

+ Manage and review monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes

+ Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports

+ Oversee account reconciliations and general ledger operations

+ Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures

+ Support audits, budgeting, and forecasting processes

+ Lead process improvements and mentor junior team members

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ CPA or progress toward certification preferred

+ 3+ years of accounting experience, with a strong grasp of GAAP

+ Proficient in accounting software (Microsoft D365, Oracle Net Suite, Quick Books, SAP, Workday)

+ Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power

BI or SQL is a plus

+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
