We’re looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to support in daily and monthly operations of the accounting department. You’ll support in ensuring complete, accurate and timely completion of financial and accounting records while supporting the functional area toward the accomplishment of overall credit union objectives.

• Daily ATM deposits and cash balancing/Image center balancing.
• Accounts Payable Indexing/Daily CDM/CDR valt cash reconciliation.
• Prepare and post daily and monthly journal entries.
• Rotation tasks to include cash ordering/verification, daily settlement wires (Visa DPS & Money Gram).
• Monthly general ledger reconciliations.

• One year to three years of similar or related experience
• A bachelor’s degree or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• High technical proficiency and attention to detail
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Hourly wages range from $34.00 to $39.00 per hour depending on experience. Wages listed are for grade
9. Hybrid schedule begins after training has been completed and ability to work independently.
