Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk for a contract/temporary opportunity in Pleasanton, CA. This role is well-suited for an accounting professional with 3-5 years of experience who enjoys working with financial data, resolving billing and payment issues, and supporting accurate cash flow processes. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH QUICKBOOKS.
Key Responsibilities- Process customer payments, apply cash receipts, and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
- Review customer accounts, research discrepancies, and assist with resolving billing or payment issues.
- Generate and maintain invoices, statements, aging reports and related documentation.
- Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding account status, payment details, and outstanding balances.
- Support month‑end close activities by preparing account reconciliations and providing receivables documentation.
- Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with established accounting procedures.
Pay rate: $25.00 per hour.
