Experienced Accountant
We are looking for an experienced accountant to support core financial operations in California. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate records, coordinating close activities, and ensuring balance sheet integrity across assigned accounts. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, careful attention to detail, and hands-on experience in environments in a real estate company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle AP/AR, including invoicing, collections, cash applications, vendor payments, and account maintenance.
- Support project billing, revenue tracking, contract administration, and customer/vendor inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records for vendors, customers, GL coding, and payment information.
- Assist with month-end/year-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare financial analyses, fixed asset schedules, tax filings, and ad hoc reports.
- Support audits, internal controls, accounting policies, compliance requirements, and process improvements.
- Research accounting issues, resolve discrepancies, and participate in special projects.
