Job Title: Tax Senior Manager / Director

Location: Pleasanton, CA (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office/week)

Employment Type: Full-Time

A boutique CPA firm in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Tax Senior Manager or Director to join its leadership team. This hybrid role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in both Tax and Audit & Assurance (A&A), and a desire to grow into a partner role within 3–5 years

• Practice Areas: 60% Tax, 40% Audit, Evaluation, and Non-Profit
• Industries:
  High Tech, Software, Manufacturing, Construction, Real Estate, and High-Net-Worth Individuals

• Lead tax and audit engagements across a diverse client base
• Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to clients
• Mentor and develop junior staff
• Contribute to business development and firm growth

• 12+ years of public accounting experience
• Strong technical skills in both Tax and A&A
• Local market experience preferred
• Business development experience and/or an existing book of business is a strong plus
• Competitive base salary: $185K–$225K+, with flexibility for the right candidate
