  • Process enrollment, eligibility, and disability documentation for union members
  • Provide excellent customer service by phone and in person
  • Communicate benefit policies, regulations, and program requirements clearly and professionally
  • Review and process plan applications and related documents
  • Support compliance and respond to legal inquiries (e.g., child support orders)
  • Perform lobby reception duties as needed
  • Maintain accurate data entry and records across systems
  • Assist with reports, special projects, and department-wide initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, managers, and the Associate Director of Benefits
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ year of experience in an employee benefits or related administrative environment
  • Strong organizational
    , communication
    , and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and general computer applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Ability to multi-task
    , prioritize, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
  • Calm, self-motivated, and professional under pressure
  • High level of accuracy, detail orientation, and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to confidentiality and responsible handling of sensitive information
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working effectively with members, employees, and other departments
