About the RoleWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Pension Analyst to support the administration of pension benefits for plan participants. In this role, you will be responsible for performing accurate pension calculations, validating participant data, and managing case files to ensure seamless processing of retirement and benefit requests. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numerical data, interpreting plan rules, and delivering accurate, member‑focused support in a structured environment.

- Perform pension benefit calculations based on plan provisions, service time, contributions, and eligibility criteria.
- Prepare estimates, benefit statements, and supporting documentation for retirements, terminations, survivorship, and other qualifying events.
- Review, verify, and reconcile participant demographic and employment data across internal systems.
- Ensure accuracy of pension records by identifying discrepancies and obtaining corrections when needed.
- Interpret and apply plan rules, policies, and regulatory requirements while processing cases.
- Respond to participant inquiries related to pension eligibility, plan benefits, and application status.
- Provide clear guidance using benefits documentation, plan summaries, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to research complex cases and elevate issues appropriately.
- Maintain accurate case logs, documentation, and tracking reports.
- Support year‑end activities, file audits, and data clean‑up initiatives as needed.
- Assist with special projects related to pension administration and workflow optimization.
- Experience working with pension, benefits, accounting, or HR‑related data (preferred but not required).
- Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to interpret plan rules and apply formulas accurately.
- High attention to detail with excellent data‑entry accuracy and documentation discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and comfort navigating multiple administrative systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a case‑driven environment.
