Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives within a large, complex enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on project leader who owns delivery end-to-end and can clearly articulate business objectives, solution approaches, and measurable outcomes.

Location: 100% Remote (PST)
Type: Contract (multi-year potential)
Experience: 10–15+ years
Pay rate: $80 - $90 per hour
This is not a coordination-only or task-tracking role. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong ownership, decision-making, and the ability to drive results in highly matrixed organizations.
Key Responsibilities- Own end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives from problem definition through implementation and measurable business outcomes
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, define success metrics, and translate needs into actionable plans
- Lead cross-functional teams (business, IT, operations, vendors) through ambiguity, constraints, and competing priorities
- Identify, assess, and manage risks, dependencies, and issues, proactively driving resolution
- Communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders at multiple levels, including executive leadership
- Drive alignment across teams by balancing scope, timeline, budget, and business impact
- Apply project management frameworks and best practices while adapting to the needs of the initiative (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- 10–15+ years of progressive project management experience with clear career growth and increasing responsibility
- Demonstrated ownership of projects tied to business outcomes, not just delivery of tasks or processes
- Strong ability to explain what problem was being solved, how it was solved, and what changed as a result
- Experience working in large, enterprise, highly regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, financial services, insurance, compliance-heavy industries)
- Background delivering end-user–facing systems, platforms, or capabilities
- Proven leadership through complexity, ambiguity, and organizational change
- Solid project management foundation (PMO experience, formal PM methodologies, or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience working within or alongside PMOs
- Exposure to business functions such as HR, Finance, Claims, Membership, Operations, or Customer Platforms
- History of being promoted or entrusted with larger initiatives over time
- Experience partnering closely with IT while maintaining a strong business lens
