Senior Associate Deal Operations Manager – Workday
Senior Associate Deal Operations Managers are individual contributors responsible for analyzing subscription agreements and supporting the quote-to-contract process to ensure growth opportunities are closed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities- Prepare and ensure accurate pricing, quotes, and order forms while maintaining operational dashboards.
- Partner with Customer Base Sales to close growth opportunities in a timely manner.
- Own and close a quarterly pipeline of growth opportunities, aiming to close more than 97% of assigned deals within a quarter.
- Verify existing contracts, ensure data integrity of new quotes, review terms and conditions, and confirm all new documentation aligns with company guidelines and policies.
- Identify problems and suggest solutions to improve process management.
- Apply company policies while balancing the development of new practices.
- Coordinate with internal partners and customers to resolve issues promptly while maintaining a superior customer experience.
- Basic: 2+ years of related work experience in deal operations, sales operations, contract analysis, or a similar role, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experienced in contract analysis, able to examine and interpret contractual agreements, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations.
- Skilled in analytical thinking, able to break down complex information into fundamental parts to enable sound decision‑making and identify patterns, trends, and insights.
- Demonstrated ability in decision making, evaluating alternatives, assessing risk, and selecting the best course of action within defined procedures.
- Proficient in time management, planning and prioritizing across multiple tasks, setting goals, and managing a quarterly pipeline to meet deadlines.
- Effective at teamwork, working collaboratively toward shared goals, contributing to a positive team environment, and communicating openly to resolve issues.
- Skilled in relationship building, establishing and nurturing productive relationships with internal partners, sales teams, and customers through effective communication and empathy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt style to different audiences.
- Proficiency with is preferred.
Annual base salary ranges: $85,900
USD – $128,900
USD for the primary location in Pleasanton, CA; $72,600
USD – $128,900
USD for additional US locations. The total compensation package may include eligibility for the Workday Bonus Plan or role‑specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
