We're currently looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join our Construction Management team supporting projects throughout the Bay Area.
What You'll DoAs a Construction Manager, you'll serve as the owner's trusted representative, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing projects from planning through closeout while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget expectations
Interpreting and administering contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation
Coordinating communication between owners, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
Leading project meetings, documenting key decisions, tracking action items, and driving accountability
Monitoring project controls, budgets, schedules, cost reporting, and overall project performance
Overseeing contractor performance, staffing, safety compliance, logistics, and project execution
Identifying project risks early and developing proactive solutions
Supporting project programming, design-build coordination, and preconstruction planning
Managing project closeout, including warranties, punch lists, final documentation, and owner turnover
Assisting with business development efforts, proposals, interviews, and client relationship management
Promoting Roebbelen's commitment to safety, quality, and exceptional client service
What We’re Looking ForWe're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and leading projects from beginning to end.
Required Qualifications
Design-Build and programming experience
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible construction management experience
OR
9+ years of progressively responsible construction management experience in lieu of a degree
You should also have:
Strong knowledge of construction management principles, scheduling, estimating, project controls, and cost management
Experience interpreting contracts, drawings, specifications, and construction documents
Working knowledge of project accounting and financial reporting
Experience with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Primavera, Sure Trak, or similar platforms
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
