Job SummaryThe Assistant Land Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and assisting land development project workflow and activities to achieve quality, timing, and budget requirements.
PrimaryJob Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning and coordination efforts with vertical construction.
- Coordinate land development construction with power, telephone and gas companies.
- Manage development trades and schedules in accordance with Divisions goals.
- Assist in the entitlement process by partnering with Land Development Project Manager, municipalities, and other government agencies from entitlement to final acceptance.
- Support and analyze trade bidding and contracting efforts.
- Monitor development progress using design documents, site plans, improvement plans, and plats for project coordination and accuracy.
- Monitor progress of land development projects. Provide Project Manager with reports on progress and issues needing attention.
- Assist in delivering projects according to quality, timing and budget specifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on the area.
- Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments.
- Sets objectives for own area to meet the objectives or goals of projects and assignments.
- May assist other professionals with tasks and assignments.
- May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees.
- Requires practical knowledge of area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2-4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with material testing or survey a plus
- Excellent computer and contract skills
- Valid Driver's License because driving is an essential function of this position.

- $86,200 - $107,700 per year
- Hired applicant will be eligible to receive annual bonus
