About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional Piano/Violin Instructor to teach part-time at New World Music Academy, Pleasanton. In-person instruction is required. The ability to teach an additional instrument is a plus and can grow to a full-time opportunity depending on the instrument(s).
Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed. Consistency is appreciated by students and school staff, and greater availability may be favored.
Qualifications include a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience; a demonstrated love of teaching; experience working with young musicians; a commitment to punctuality; reliable transportation; and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and ranges from $38-$42 per hour. A 401(k) program with employer matching is available after 30 days on the job. Health benefits options are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.
