Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Project Architect/Project Manager to oversee and manage K-12 educational projects with a focus on DSA compliance. The ideal candidate will lead design efforts, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure successful project delivery from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage K-12 educational projects ensuring adherence to DSA regulations
- Develop and prepare detailed construction documents
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
- Supervise project team members and provide guidance on design and construction issues
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any challenges that may arise
- Facilitate communication between various stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success
- Implement modernization strategies for existing educational facilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Licensed Architect (AIA and NCARB certification preferred)
- Proven experience in project management within K-12 education sector
- Strong knowledge of DSA regulations and compliance
- Proficient in Revit and other architectural design software
- Experience in developing construction documents for educational facilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
