Building Automation Service Technician II

Schneider Electric is seeking a BAS Service Technician in Pleasanton, CA. This full-time role requires BAS experience and offers compensation in the United States of $80,000.00 - $ per year, including base pay and short-term incentive. Within the salary range, pay is determined by performance, knowledge, skills, experience, and education or training. • System Maintenance & Support:
  Service and maintain complex Building Automation Systems (BAS) to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Travel throughout the Bay Area to service customers is required.
• Technical Expertise:
  Diagnose and repair malfunctions in control systems using knowledge of electronic and digital control systems.
• Customer Communication:
  Notify customers upon arrival and before leaving the site; regularly meet with clients to understand operating challenges and update on progress, issues, and potential system enhancements.
• Technical Resource:
  Serve as a technical resource for the team and customers, providing insights on upgrades, enhancements, and replacements.
• Organizational

  Work independently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks to meet leadership schedules.

  Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication; collaborate with team members and customers.

• High School Diploma

• 4+ related work experience troubleshooting and maintaining Schneider Electric systems (EBO, Continuum) or competing systems (e.g., Metasys, Siemens, Alerton, Distech, Tridium/Niagara, Delta).
• Working knowledge of BACnet, LON, and MODBUS protocols.
• Intermediate ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of video surveillance and access control systems is a plus.
