Substation Designer – Pleasanton, CA

• Prepare physical layout drawings for substations and produce electrical plans and sections as well as grounding and conduit drawings.
• Prepare bills of materials and review drawings and specifications.
• Prepare Substation General Arrangement.
• Prepare Substation Electrical Equipment Plans.
• Prepare Substation Section Views (Elevations).
• Prepare Substation Detailed Bill of Material.
• Prepare Substation Grounding Plan.
• Prepare Substation Conduit, Electrical Connection, and Grounding Details.
• Prepare Substation Below Grade Conduit/Raceway Plan.
• Prepare Control Building Equipment, Cable Tray, Lighting, Grounding Plans and Sections.

• 5+ years experience in utility substation design.
• Associate degree in engineering technology or drafting (preferred).
• Proficient with AutoCAD, P4A modeling, and Micro Station.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Pay Range $70,/year
