Job Description:

A talented Senior Data Engineer to join our consulting practice. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering data engineering solutions to our clients across various industries. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, design and implement data solutions, and provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, hands-on experience with a variety of data technologies, and a passion for solving complex data challenges in a consulting environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their data engineering needs and develop customized solutions to meet their requirements.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines, ETL /ELT processes, and data warehouses to support clients' data analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Conduct data assessments and audits to evaluate the quality, integrity, and reliability of clients' data assets.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, including data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Work closely with clients to optimize and tune data pipelines and queries for performance and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain documentation, best practices, and standards for data engineering projects.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and advise clients on adopting best practices and tools.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, presentations, and client engagements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in data engineering roles, preferably in a consulting or client-facing environment.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with DBT and Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Flink.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, or Azure.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and No
  
  SQL databases. Experience in Big Query highly desired.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
