Responsibilities
- Assist with project execution, trade coordination, scheduling, document management, and problem solving.
- Survey existing buildings for retrofits and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in completing preliminary designs, proposal data, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Department regarding price, delivery, and specifications for purchased items.
- Coordinate installation procedures among Engineering, Construction, and other stakeholders.
- Write letters, memos, contracts, change orders, and other project-related documents.
- Assist with estimation.
- Perform other duties as directed by partnering Project Managers, Sales Management, or Engineering leadership.
- Coursework toward a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Prior internship experience with HVAC and/or engineering consulting preferred but not required.
- Excellent understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar drafting software).
- Ability to interact effectively with others in team environments.
- High sense of integrity.

- Occasionally required to reach above shoulder height to access storage cabinets and shelves.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
OR
This is a non‑exempt position from Monday through Friday. Work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm with one‑hour lunch break and two rest breaks. Eight hours per day is required and occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs.
Travel0–5% of the time to and from the primary office to regional branch offices.
