Substation Drafter – Locations:

- Develop and update substation drawings, including one‑line diagrams, three‑line diagrams, wiring diagrams, physical layouts, grounding plans, conduit and cable routing.
- Support engineers by preparing drawing packages for new construction, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
- Maintain accuracy and quality control across all drawings and documentation.
- Incorporate redlines, revisions, and feedback from engineering leads.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, industry codes, and client specifications.
- Organize drawing sets and support document management tasks within CAD and project systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve design issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- 2+ years of utilities substation drafting experience.
- Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field OR equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Micro Station.
- Strong understanding of electrical drafting principles.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
$65,/year
