Right at Home East Bay is hiring compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to deliver skilled, person-centered care for seniors in their own homes. As a CNA or HHA with Right at Home East Bay, you’ll put your training to work where it matters most — supporting clients with higher‑acuity needs so they can live safely, comfortably, and independently at home.
Available Shifts- Weekday and weekend shifts
- Morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight opportunities
- Flexible scheduling built around your availability
- Up to $23.00/hr — Alameda & Contra Costa $19.00–$23.00;

Your CNA/HHA training is central to this role. You’ll primarily support clients with greater care needs, including:
- Personal care — bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
- Mobility assistance — safe transfers, positioning, and fall prevention
- Specialty care — dementia/Alzheimer’s care, Parkinson’s care, stroke care, etc.
- Medication reminders and monitoring
- Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition to our care team
- Meal planning and preparation, including special diets
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Companionship, socializing, walks, and outings
- Transportation for errands and appointments
- Valid CNA or HHA certification
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
- Able to lift/move 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Register with the State of California as a Home Care Aide (HCA) — we’ll guide you through every step
- Pass a state Live Scan background check and Tuberculosis (TB) test
- Eligible to work in the United States and able to provide employment eligibility verification
