Our Client is seeking experienced MRI Technologists to support diagnostic imaging operations during a temporary healthcare staffing assignment in Northern California.
The MRI Technologist will perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, imaging accuracy, and compliance with clinical protocols. Successful candidates will be comfortable working independently, managing patient care responsibilities, and adapting to fast-paced healthcare environments.

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Prepare, screen, and position patients for MRI procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment and related imaging systems safely and effectively.
• Evaluate image quality and perform repeat imaging when necessary.
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout imaging procedures.
• Administer or assist with contrast-enhanced studies as permitted by credentials and facility guidelines.
• Document procedures, imaging results, and patient information in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to support patient care and departmental operations.

• Active MRI Certification or Registry required.
• Current California Radiologic Technologist credentials, as required for assignment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Recent professional experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards, patient screening procedures, and imaging protocols.
• Ability to independently perform routine and complex MRI examinations.
• Experience operating MRI equipment and maintaining imaging quality standards.
• Excellent patient care, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to pass all credentialing and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and shift assignments.
• Ability to deploy on short notice if activated.

• Previous hospital experience.
• Previous travel assignment experience.
• Experience working in large healthcare systems.
• Previous strike-event, emergency response, or contingency staffing experience.
• Two or more years of recent MRI experience.
• Experience performing complex MRI studies.
• Experience with multiple MRI platforms and imaging technologies.
• Experience with contrast-enhanced MRI procedures and venipuncture.
• Trauma center or emergency department imaging experience.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
