Responsibilities Position Summary
  • Act as a senior hands‑on Anaplan Model Builder supporting FP&A use cases such as planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
  • Work closely with Solution Architects to translate high‑level solution designs into scalable, high‑performing Anaplan models.
  • Analyze business requirements, design model structures, build and enhance Anaplan models, and resolve production issues.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in Anaplan model building, including model architecture, best practices, and performance optimization.
  • Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality reporting dashboards using Anaplan Classic and New UX.
  • Coordinate with data integration and migration teams to ensure reliable inbound and outbound data flows.
  • Possess strong technical knowledge of Lists, Modules, Data Hubs, New UX, and ALM.
  • Apply Anaplan Space Optimization techniques and Formula Tuning to ensure efficient and scalable models.
  • Perform customer front‑ending for requirement clarification, design walkthroughs, and solution validation.
  • Lead and support production issues based on severity and work with cross‑functional teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Own and enhance existing Anaplan models and contribute to the build of new modules/models as required.
  • Prepare and review technical artifacts such as detailed designs, technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and model documentation.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to build and support integrations.
  • Develop and execute unit test cases, support system/integration testing, and assist in UAT.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior Model Builders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting processes.
  • 5–10 years of experience in supporting enterprise‑scale financial platforms such as Anaplan.
  • 4+ years of hands‑on experience as an Anaplan Model Builder.
  • Anaplan Level 3 Model Builder certification (preferred or expected).
  • Ability to communicate clearly and create structure in complex problem spaces.
Preferred
  • Experience working on medium to large‑scale Anaplan implementations in FP&A.
  • Exposure to integrations using middleware tools such as Informatica, Mule Soft, or Boomi.
  • Experience in creating and reviewing technical artifacts such as Tech Specs, Data Flow Diagrams, and Business Architecture Diagrams.
  • Hands‑on experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while collaborating effectively within a distributed team.
  • Proactive mindset to contribute to process improvements, best practices, and overall capability maturity.
Nice to Haves
  • Knowledge of APIs (SOAP, REST) and common integration patterns.
  • Exposure to EPM/ERP ecosystems and upstream/downstream financial systems.
  • Prior experience in mentoring or reviewing models built by other team members.
Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $148000

Pay Range Maximum: $179000

In addition, this position qualifies for benefits like health insurance, paid time off (PTO), 401(K). Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, education, and/or to comply with federal or state law.
