Job Overview

The M&A IT Integration Lead is responsible for coordinating and executing IT integration activities across a pipeline of acquisitions. This role focuses on driving successful integration of acquired companies into the organization's IT environment, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 tenant‑to‑tenant migrations. The role is hands‑on coordination and execution, working closely with internal IT teams, external partners, and acquired company stakeholders to ensure timely integrations with minimal disruption to business operations.

The role requires independent judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent integrations in a fast‑paced, deal‑driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and lead day‑to‑day execution of IT integration work streams across multiple acquisitions, developing and managing integration plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Lead detailed planning and execution of Microsoft 365 tenant‑to‑tenant migrations, including Entra , Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and One Drive, and oversee testing, validation, and post‑migration stabilization.
  • Coordinate migration of file data into the organization's standard platform (Box) and evaluate SharePoint and One Drive content, ensuring critical business data is retained and accessible.
  • Serve as the primary IT point of contact during integrations, coordinating across infrastructure, security, applications, and business teams to manage dependencies, resolve issues, and maintain alignment.
  • Plan and execute cutover activities, including onsite coordination when required, and lead post‑integration support to ensure a smooth transition for end users.
  • Execute and refine IT integration playbooks and standards to improve consistency and scalability, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tooling, and documentation.
  • Support IT due diligence efforts as needed, assessing acquired company environments and identifying risks, dependencies, and integration considerations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in IT, with direct experience supporting or leading M&A IT integrations.
  • Hands‑on experience leading Microsoft 365 tenant‑to‑tenant migrations in production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Entra  (Azure AD), Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and One Drive.
  • Experience using migration tools such as Bit Titan, Quest, Share Gate, or similar.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating across cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and execution skills.
  • Experience working in organizations with an active acquisition strategy is preferred.
  • Experience supporting IT due diligence activities is preferred.
  • Background in consulting or integration‑focused roles is nice to have.
  • Preferred experience in developing or refining integration playbooks.
Physical Demands

Must be able to regularly talk, hear, and operate a computer, keyboard, and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push, and carry up to 20 pounds with accommodations.

Work Conditions

Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level, consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high‑stress, fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment. Travel to other BKF locations and client sites may be required.
