Clinical Budget Analyst
Location: Hybrid – Tuesday & Friday onsite anchor days
Employment Type: 3 Month Contract W2
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM availability required (8-hour shift with flexibility)
Pay Rate: $40.00- $42.90/hr

Role OverviewBEPC is seeking a detail‑oriented Clinical Budget Analyst to support a specialized clinical procurement and data harmonization initiative for one of our clients in the diagnostics industry. This role will focus on transforming high-volume, unstructured clinical trial budget data into standardized, audit‑ready datasets that support Fair Market Value (FMV) benchmarking, financial transparency, and operational compliance.
This opportunity is ideal for a self‑starter with experience in clinical trial budgeting, site payment structures, and procurement analytics who thrives in fast‑paced environments and can independently navigate complex datasets and internal systems.
Key Responsibilities- Review, cleanse, and standardize unstructured clinical site budget data across multiple studies, regions, and trial phases.
- Harmonize terminology, budget categories, and payment structures to ensure consistency and reporting accuracy.
- Align budget line items with Fair Market Value (FMV) standards and internal compliance thresholds.
- Map legacy and unstructured data into internal databases and tracking systems while resolving discrepancies and data inconsistencies.
- Develop and maintain process workflows and “Source of Truth” documentation to support future budgeting activities and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Clinical eSolutions teams to validate procurement benchmarks and cost assumptions.
- Perform high-volume data review and validation activities with exceptional attention to detail and quality control.
- Support ongoing data integrity initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
- 2–3 years of experience in clinical procurement, clinical trial budgeting, site payments, or related financial analysis roles.
- Strong understanding of:
- Clinical trial terminology
- Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs)
- Experience with clinical sourcing, FMV benchmarking, or financial compliance within the diagnostics or life sciences industry.
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, formulas, and Data Validation.
- Experience working with Tableau and proprietary/internal business systems.
- Strong analytical and data-cleaning capabilities with experience handling complex or ambiguous datasets.
- Understanding of financial transparency requirements and regulatory considerations related to clinical trial payments.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong audit and compliance mindset.
- Adaptable and quick to learn new systems, tools, and workflows.
- Comfortable working in high-volume environments with evolving priorities.
- Hybrid work schedule with onsite anchor days every Tuesday and Friday.
