BEPC is actively looking for Procurement Analyst I, in Pleasanton, CA area!

W2 Contract – 3 months with possible extensions!

Pay Rate: $
40.00- $ 42.90 /hour - Determined based on experience (Paid Weekly)

Work Model:
Hybrid – 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM availability required (8-hour shift with flexibility)

Summary of the Role

BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Procurement Consultant to join our client’s site in Pleasanton, CA. This role will support a specialized data-cleansing and harmonization project focused on transforming unstructured clinical site budget data into a structured format to support Fair Market Value (FMV) benchmarking and financial compliance.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who understands the complexities of clinical trial costs and can independently navigate internal systems to ensure data integrity and audit-readiness.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review, cleanse, and standardize unstructured clinical site budget data across multiple studies, regions, and trial phases.
  • Harmonize terminology, budget categories, and payment structures to ensure consistency and reporting accuracy.
  • Align budget line items with Fair Market Value (FMV) standards and internal compliance thresholds.
  • Map legacy and unstructured data into internal databases and tracking systems while resolving discrepancies and data inconsistencies.
  • Develop and maintain process workflows and “Source of Truth” documentation to support future budgeting activities and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Clinical eSolutions teams to validate procurement benchmarks and cost assumptions.
  • Perform high-volume data review and validation activities with exceptional attention to detail and quality control.
  • Support ongoing data integrity initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization.
  • Hybrid work schedule with onsite anchor days every Tuesday and Friday.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in clinical procurement, clinical trial budgeting, site payments, or related financial analysis roles.
  • 2–3 years of experience in clinical procurement, clinical trial budgeting, site payments, or related financial analysis roles.
  • Deep familiarity with clinical trial terminology, Site Payment schedules, and Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs).
  • Clinical trial terminology

  • Experience in clinical sourcing, cost-benchmarking, or financial analysis within the diagnostics industry.
  • Skilled in Excel (Pivot Tables, Data Validation) and comfortable working with internal proprietary software and Tableau.
  • Understanding of the regulatory landscape surrounding investigator payments and financial transparency.
  • Self-directed and able to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented with a quality-first approach to data.
  • Adaptive and quick to learn internal tools and workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data cleanup projects.
  • Ability to work in high-volume environments.
  • Strong attention to detail.
