AV/VC Onsite Support Technician (ZOOM) - Local applicants only #13046

Location: Onsite - Pleasanton, CA

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (Hours may increase according to event schedules; some travel may be requested)

Milestone Technologies is seeking an Onsite AV/VC Event Technician experienced with audio-video, video conferencing, event coordination, and troubleshooting. You will provide onsite AV event support and assist the client alongside partner teams to ensure successful events. Additional duties include creating support documentation, remediating live event issues, and providing direct training to client s event organizers. The ideal candidate will have a track record of supporting successful events and excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

• Provide AV event support directly with clients; demonstrate strong client-facing soft skills
• Create supporting documentation; assist with typing and data entry
• Remediate live event issues and coordinate with teams to ensure successful outcomes
• Assist with training for client event organizers and post-event follow-up
• Support evening or weekend events as needed
• Maintain knowledge of AV/VC equipment and room setups

• HS Diploma or GED
• Prefer 2 years of relevant ZOOM work experience in corporate live events, conference center operation, or other AV support for executive-level clientele
• Demonstrated success in event coordination and project coordination
• IT knowledge of Android, Chrome, iOS, Mac, and Windows
• Strong understanding of audio and video signal flow with ability to troubleshoot
• Flexible schedule to accommodate night/weekend events
• A career path showing increasing responsibility and proven results
• Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Proficiency with helpdesk ticket management software
• Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar)
• Networking understanding related to AV/venue deployments (Wi-Fi, VLANs, ISPs)
• Familiarity with AV event production and post-production workflows

• Back-end Zoom experience
• Tier 1 technical savvy
• HDMI to device experience
• Service Now ticketing system experience
• Slack experience

• Provide AV event support directly with client; client-facing communication
• Create supporting documentation; data entry
• Remediate live event issues;
  Slack experience is a plus
• Additional duties as needed

Estimated Pay Range: $24.34 - $27.00 USD
